What does therapy cost?
Therapy is “NAME YOUR FEE” meaning that YOU decide how much you can afford. With all the costs associated with caregiving, finding support for yourself should be affordable.
We are able to offer affordable therapy because of our community partner, The Family Guidance & Therapy Center of Southern California, whom provides us space to do our important work.
At this time we do not take health insurance, yet please call to discuss your current needs. We will be able to connect you with someone that does.
How long can I ‘name my own’ fee?
We will honor this fee structure as long as you are attending your scheduled appointments and attempting to make progress towards your therapeutic goals. We are unable to keep this fee arrangement, if cancellations and ‘no-shows’ become an issue.
Where are you located?
3575 Kenyon Drive, Suite 102
San Diego, CA 92100
We provide services within the Family Guidance & Therapy Center. You will see their sign, a green tree, on the window.
What does “marriage and therapist trainee” mean?
A marriage and family therapist is a therapist in training. This person is concurrently enrolled in a masters program having completed much of the clinical course work. The designation “trainee” means that this individual is working towards licensure under the direct supervision of a licensed therapist, at a specific setting such as a not-for-profit. All clinical work is reviewed weekly at a ratio of 1 hour of supervision to 5 hours of clinical work.
We are here to answer any of your clinical questions prior to getting started. If you would like a free phone consultation, please call us at 619.607.1230.
